Maintaining good reproductive health among women is therefore not only a crucial goal in itself, but can lead to increased survival rates of children. Towards achieving this goal, an awareness programme for expectant mothers was organized, which was attended by a large number of women. These women were identified through a month long survey conducted by the health workers. Issues like Nutrition, pre Natal Care, Personal Hygiene, Breast feeding, Need for immunization etc., were discussed.
